A DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE BY                              AMERICA'S INDEPENDENTS

Dan Lynch . . . uses wit, common sense, and above all, a sturdy BS detector, to roam the political landscape, and expose loonies and their fallacious arguments on the left and right. — Ralph Cipriano, reporter, blogger on bigtrial.net, and author ofCourtroom Cowboy and The Hit Man..

The most important story of the 2012 presidential campaign wasn't the re-election of Barack Obama. It wasn't the Republicans retaining control of the House of Representatives or the Democrats holding on to the U. S. Senate. It wasn't several states essentially legalizing marijuana and gay marriage. Instead, it was the surging swarm of defections from each major political party by frustrated, fed-up Americans appalled by the parties' blind, vicious partisanship and by the way the party operatives mangle the truth to mislead voters. The big story of the election was that it marked the beginning of the emergence of free-thinking independents as the dominant force in American politics, which is just how George Washington, James Madison and the other Framers wanted us to conduct democracy's business. That's the point of An Independent State: How the Deluded, Deranged Cult Members of Partisan Politics Are Destroying the Very Fabric of American Life - And What Sensible People Can Do to Fix It All.

“I commend Dan Lynch for pointing out . . . that politicians need to get back to the business of governing and producing a work product for the good of the people they represent.” — Michael McNulty , Representative U.S. Congress (NY) , 1992-2009 .

Lynch peels back the onion to consider the real issues while unmasking the lies both parties would like you believe. Don't cast another ballet before reading this book!” — Paul Rutherford, Author "The Tunnel Hoard.”

“. . . this book [is]right out of the Dan Lynch playbook: tough, incisive and important.” — Sal Paolantonio, National Correspondent, ESPN, author of How Football Explains America

"I was a Nurse but now this was my Dad and he wanted to die in his own home. Our lives had gone full circle.  How quickly my sorrow gave way to peace when Dad looked in my eyes and said. 'Thank you,' before he slipped  away. In this book, Anne gives all of us the knowledge to gain that same peace for our parents."-Donna Martin, RN, home care supervisor.

With thirty years experience owning and managing Ideal Home Care in North Providence, RI, Anne  Rachin is eminently qualified to write this book. If you are facing or think you will be soon facing the problem of an aging loved one, let Anne show you the right steps to take and common mistakes to will want to avoid.

"A fascinating account of the American Civil War that uses a broad array of census data and other primary sources as a launching point."-David Voelker, PhD, Professor of History , University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. After so many books have been written about the civil war, is there anything new left to say? Indeed there is as author Vernette Carlson proves in her new book. She provides a unique look at the critical antebellum and civil war years that is is both original and fascinating.

Using census data and other primary sources as her launch point, she examines the human, economic and resource factors that are so important in determining the outcome of a war, and that are so often under emphasized. She shows that this innovative way of examining the war can answer a number of critical questions: Was the outcome foreseen? Would the outcome have been different if the war had started in 1850 instead of 1860? Did immigration tip the balance of power between north and south? What effect did western expansion have on the war? The reader will learn the answers to these and a whole host of other key questions in Dr. Carlson's important new book. "Dr. Carlson provides a picture of . . . the Civil War . . . often missed by the nonprofessional student of American history. . . most certainly not the usual U. S. history book."-Mark Johnson, PhD. "The factors that led to the war between the states had profound beginnings that are well substantiated in the book."-William H. Anderson, PhD, Regional Chief Scientist (retired), National Capital Region, National Park Service.

MOONSHINE COVE PROUDLY PRESENTS Gary Yambor's AN EASY SCORE.

"Fierce storytelling with the swagger and style of a jailhouse tattoo."--Marc Lecard, Author of Vinnie's Head and Tiny Little Troubles.

“This simple but powerful device [using first person for main character, third person for others] brings greater depth to the story and allows for more than one perspective, giving it the Rashomon effect.”--Dominic Kennedy, Kalkion.com

A late-model Honda Accord parked with the key in it—what an easy score that is.
If small time car thief Bobby had only known what was hidden in that car, or who it belonged to, or the chain reaction of violence and mayhem stealing it would unleash, he would have walked right on by. Unfortunately for him and for those in his circle, he did not know.

Gary J. Yambor's debut novel is a powerful indictment of gang culture as well as a modern American tragedy.

“ . . . a tale of struggle, conflict and danger amidst an array of varied, well drawn characters, . . . definitely worth your time! Yambor is certainly a contender in the hardboiled division.”—Frank Zafiro, author of Waist Deep and Blood on Blood.

“ . . . heisting a parked car, one with the key in full view . . . sets off a chain of events confirming that there is never an easy score.”--JD Webb, Author of Moon Over Chicago.

FROM PASSIVE RESISTANCE, VIOLENCE IN THE STREETS AND POLITICAL CORRECTNESS TO COLLAPSE OF THE SOUTH'S GREATEST NEWSPAPER—HUNTER JAMES HAS SEEN IT ALL AND NOW HE TELLS IT ALL.

AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT OUR E-STORE OR AMAZON

This work is not another play by play description of the big events of the civil rights movement. It tells us a great deal more about the South that existed before the movement, especially in the cities of Baltimore and Atlanta, and an entirely different South that came afterward. Atlanta, for example, a relatively peaceful city in the late fifties and early sixties, had become at the end of movement days one of the most crime-ridden cities in America. Whether the violence of the intervening period had a direct bearing on the creation of another kind of Atlanta is a question best left for the reader to decide.

“Hunter James can write, has a good memory, something to say and doesn't take himself too seriously. . . . Hunter James' truth is stranger and a helluva lot funnier than fiction.”--Rheta Johnson, Scripps-Howard News Service

_ Global Warming: Alarmists, Skeptics and Deniers brings a unique geological perspective to this politically charged issue, a perspective that has been ignored far too long. Written by a father-son team of geoscientist and attorney, it is the concise guide to the global warming controversy that has been long needed.

As a university professor and research geoscientist for thirty years, Dr. G Dedrick Robinson knows that geological science is essential for placing the global warming controversy in proper prospective. One cannot hope to understand how humans might be causing climate change without an understanding of the magnitude and speed natural processed are capable of when it comes to climate change. Earth history is the only yardstick we have to determine whether recent climate change is unusual or not. Yet, inexplicably, a vast repository of geologic data has been ignored in this contentious issue. Global Warming: Alarmists, Skeptics and Deniers was written to correct this oversight.

This book has been years in the making. It follows the outline Dr. Robinson used
successfully for many years in a college classes taken by large numbers of students. Using an easy-to-understand question and answer format, the fourteen chapters of the book cover systematically all the major scientific issues of global warming. With more than three hundred references to peer-reviewed science journal articles and numerous illustrations, it shows how the scientific underpinnings of the global warming theory are actually weak and uncertain.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING: ALARMISTS, SKEPTICS AND DENIERS

“Global Warming: Alarmists, Skeptics and Deniers is a refreshing read on a topic of great societal importance; refreshing because, unlike many books published on this subject, the authors of this work evaluate key predictions and controversies of the global warming debate using logic and science.  Most readers will appreciate the book’s arrangement.  Each chapter presents a series of questions and answers that revolve around a central theme.  The book is well written and easy to be understood by those with little knowledge or scientific background in the global warming debate.”—Dr. Craig D. Idso, founder and chairman of the board of the Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change.

“Dr. G Dedrick Robinson comments in his Prologue that: 'As a geologist, I knew that climate has always changed,' and therein lies the core message of this informative book. Writing in an easily accessible style for all readers, and using Socratic dialogue, Robinson leads us systematically through the simple science information that is needed to answer the question, 'Are human carbon dioxide emissions causing dangerous global warming?' And the more surprised you are that the answer to this question is 'no,' then the more you need to read this excellent book.”--Professor Robert M. Carter, Marine Geophysical Laboratory, James Cook University, Townsville, Queensland, Australia

“GLOBAL WARMING: ALARMISTS, SKEPTICS AND DENIERS is an excellent, accessible handbook for those interested in the science of global warming. Skeptics have long maintained that the bulk of the science is on their side. Anyone who reads Dr. Robinson's book with an open mind will find it hard not to agree.”--Iain Murray, author of The Really Inconvenient Truths

“GLOBAL WARMING: ALARMISTS, SKEPTICS AND DENIERS is an excellent analysis of the problems of climate science from the perspective of a veteran geologist. Particularly useful are Dr. Robinson's discussion of why climate models often fail, and how today's climate changes, when compared to those of the geological past, are clearly seen as well within natural variation. But there is much more science—enough, I'd think, to persuade all but die-hard global-warming believers that a skeptical position is much truer to the climate evidence than alarmism.”--Paul MacRae, author of False Alarm—Global Warming: Facts Versus Fears

What Other Romance Authors Say about NO TIME TO CRY

"NO TIME TO CRY may be set in 1957 Kentucky , but it’s definitely not Richie Cunningham’s 'Happy Days.'  Sue Munroe, a small-town gold-digging Lolita, mistress of the con, wants two things—riches and her own Prince Charming—and she’ll go to extremes to get them.  Filled with intrigue, scandal, romance, betrayal and murder, this romantic suspense novel is a sizzling guilty pleasure read.”--Carole Bellacera, award-winning author of Tango's Edge and the upcoming Lily of the Springs

“Rose Campion's fresh and engaging voice comes through loud and clear on every page of No Time to Cry. With its vivid descriptions and fascinating characters, this book grabs you from the start and won't let go.”--Heather Huffman, author of Ties That Bind and Suddenly A Spy

In the waning days of World War II, an American destroyer sinks a Japanese submarine near the coast of Korea carrying bombs packed with a deadly hemorrhagic fever virus. Intended for a last desperate attack on the United States, one of the bombs survives the fire and sinks to the sea floor. Ocean currents slowly carry it south while its seals gradually deteriorate.

Three generations later, CDC virologist Dr. Kristin St John investigates a suspected outbreak of the Reston stain of Ebola in the southern Philippines. The only type of Ebola that spreads through the air, the one thing that prevented a staggering death toll when the first outbreak killed monkeys near Washington D.C. in 1989 was its inability to infect people. Kristin's fear that the Reston strain has acquired this capability seems to be realized when people start dying in nearly villagers. Later she learns the new virus is a transmuted cross between the rare Reston strain and a type of hemorrhagic fever that killed hundreds of American soldiers during the Korean war.

Rishad Zharmakhan, an al-Qaeda Ph.D virologist, learns of the new virus and travels to the Philippines to obtain samples. CIA investigator Colwin Lark interviews Kristin concerning its potential to be turned into a bioweapon. As their relationship becomes romantic, Zharmakhan is busy trying to make that nightmare real.

With the CIA closing in, Zharmakhan destroys his secret lab in Kazakhstan and flees to Jakarta, establishing a larger facility to produce his far deadlier version. The CIA sends cruise missiles to take out Zharmakhan and his new lab. When Kristin learns of the attack, she tries to stop it, but it's too late.

The unintended consequences of the explosions are far more horrific than even Kristin had suspected. With no vaccine and no cure, is the end of humanity at hand?
